On Christmas, we were excited to welcome two baby lambs to Sycamore Farms, making the holiday even more special. Dorothy, one of our Dorset ewes, gave birth to twin ram lambs named Franklin and Finnigan. Having lambs born on Christmas was an unforgettable experience and a moment that reminded us why we love raising sheep so much.

Franklin is a Dorset, just like his mom, while Finnigan is a piebald, a rare and unique coloring. Seeing how different the two lambs are, yet knowing they came from the same ewe, has been an amazing learning experience. Franklin and Finnigan represent the excitement, surprises, and rewards that come with raising show lambs, and they have quickly become a special part of our Sycamore Farms story.
